Change was the theme—both literally and figuratively—at last week’s General Assembly of the Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy. Chairman of the Board, Aldo Kropf, announced his resignation, with Richard Müller named as his successor.

A dazzling light beam and meditative sounds flow from the St. Nicholas Chapel in Gstaad. “Liminal Journey” is the latest installation by artist Emilio Ferro, and it transforms the historic chapel into a space of reflection and discovery.
“Great things are done when men and mountains meet,” wrote William Blake. Julia Scheuer brings this sentiment to life with her extraordinary mountain-inspired works, combining duct tape and acrylic paint. Showcased at the Gstaad Flower Shop from 27 February to 2 March.

Booklovers rejoice. The charming and intimate Literary Autumn Gstaad festival returns for its 14th edition from 24 to 27 October.
Once more, Gstaad will host an extraordinary musical event: the 3rd Alberto Lysy International Violin Competition, which will be held from October 18th to 20th, 2024.
Soon the second edition of the Caprices Festival will take place from 20 to 22 September on the Eggli in Gstaad. The festival has grown in size and is now one day longer.
