This Saturday, the “Family Support Saanenland” foundation hosts its second-hand market at the Saanen Inn from 10am–12pm. Drop by for a great bargain and a good cause!
Around 1,500 households in the Saanenmöser, Schönried and Gruben areas were affected last week after a local drinking water source became contaminated, most likely by slurry runoff from agricultural activity near Horneggli.
Drivers travelling through Saanen and Gstaad in the coming weeks should allow a little extra time — and possibly keep a snack in the car — as extensive resurfacing works are currently underway on the cantonal road between Pillon and Gstaad, as well as on several municipal roads.
