Made for one place and one client
13.02.2026 Lifestyle, Gallery & Exhibitions, Events, Arts & CultureWhether a private residence or a hospitality destination, a space in the Alps must do more than provide comfort. It must articulate a clear relationship to its setting, architectural, cultural, and material, while supporting contemporary life.
The studio’s work spans private residences and selected hospitality projects, developed over many years and diverse contexts. Geography is not treated as a backdrop, but as a condition. Light, altitude, climate, and landscape inform proportion, palette, and material choice.
Furniture is central to the architectural concept. Each project includes custom-designed pieces developed specifically for the space, the client, and the way it will be used.

In Gstaad, the dining table is where it all happens. With the light shifting over the Saanenland outside, the classic chalet atmosphere meets clean, contemporary lines. It is a space made for real life here: relaxed, welcoming and always centred around the people at the table.
Selected oak underfoot, natural leathers, and refined metals reflect the craftsmanship long valued in this valley. Framed by panoramic windows and ever-changing mountain skies, the space feels unmistakably local, discreet, authentic, and enduring. Designed to age beautifully, the materials develop a natural patina over time, just as every true Gstaad residence should, growing richer with each winter, each summer, each gathering.

When the mountain chill settles in and the last light slips behind the peaks, life simply moves indoors. In this high-ceilinged living space, the fireplace draws everyone in — a natural meeting point after a day outside. Timber, texture and generous beams give the room its grounding, while clean architectural lines keep it fresh and current. It is the kind of chalet living Gstaad does best: warm, understated and built for evenings that unfold at their own pace.

Floor-to-ceiling windows keep the mountains in view long after you step inside. This soaring hallway sets the tone immediately — generous in scale, yet warm in atmosphere. With deep sofas lining the walls, it invites you to sit down, regroup and let the day’s conversations continue. (preferably with a cocktail in hand)
Stone and timber bring structure and texture, softened by ambient light that glows gently against natural materials. In true Gstaad fashion, it feels both impressive and easy — a space designed for gathering, not rushing through.

At the heart of the chalet, the dining room is designed for those who understand Alpine living at its finest. As evening falls, the Rougemont mountains ignite in their signature red glow, a spectacle known only to those who call this valley home.
The monolithic marble table stands as a sculptural centrepiece, grounding the space in raw, authentic materiality. Solid timber, hand-finished surfaces, and burnished metals reflect the craftsmanship of the region — refined, enduring, unmistakably local.
Furniture, joinery, and built-in elements are conceived as permanent components rather than decorative additions. Scale, tactility, and material honesty guide every decision.
Local materials such as wood, stone, and patinated metals are worked with precision in collaboration with skilled craftsmen. Sustainability is understood as longevity: pieces made to endure physically and culturally, acquiring depth and character over time.
There is no signature aesthetic. Each project forms its own identity, rooted in local tradition and expressed with contemporary clarity.
In an era of global sameness, distinction lies in what is made once, for one place.
Interior architecture conceived for discreet private clients and selected hospitality projects.
