After 52 years, Gstaad International School is no more. In operation since 1962, the all-boarding institution was one of four private schools in the Saanenland-Pays d’en Haut.
With the arrival of spring, the decade-long renovation of the road from Saanenmöser to Zweisimmen has resumed. Due to budget cuts, the work plan has undergone several changes. Namely, repairs which were scheduled to be completed in 2014 will now be completed by 2015.

Work has begun on the decade-long renovation of the road from to Saanenmöser to Zweisimmen. Originally constructed in the 19th century and rebuilt in the 1940’s and 50’s, the road has long been overdue for a full makeover.
