Third Place for Switzerland at Culinary Olympics

The Culinary Olympics, which are held each year, are the most important event worldwide for chefs and bakers. The 2016 edition was held at the Messe Erfurt in Germany from 22-25 October and featured over 2000 chefs from 59 different countries. More than 25000 guests partook in the festivities, during which a whopping 7000 meals were prepared by chefs eager to show off their kitchen know-how.

Ciarulli was confident in his coaching skills after the team win, stating, "I am overwhelmed by the
performance of my team. It's easy, fantastic, incredible!"

While the adult Swiss team took third place, it could not beat out champion Singapore, nor second-place Finland.
