ART TALK 4 – Dreams En route to Gstaad

30.12.2025 Arts & Culture, Editors Picks, Inspiration, From the Archives, Arts & Culture, Events

In an age of fragmented truths, smoothed images and a changing world, what is left to dream about?” GstaadLife made a stop in Nyon – En route to Saanenland

"What Remains to Dream" brings together two Swiss artists from a generation shaped by paradoxes: between the need to slow down and the constant pressure, between genuine relationships and hyperconnection, between the difficulty of the present and the hope of the future. Marked by the lack of contact of the Covid years and nourished by international trajectories, these artists take a sensitive and lucid look at the world around them. Their work questions, diversions, displaces. It shakes up the obvious, values dissonances and deconstructs what has been achieved. Through painting, drawing, and sculpture, they give substance to their doubts, their fears, and their dreams.

This exhibition examines a generation shaped by digital immersion, global interconnection, and social uncertainty. Through painting, drawing, and sculpture, Attila Wittmer and Nathalie Marti challenge norms and give form to their doubts, fears, and aspirations.

The exhibition offers a rare, sensitive, and globally resonant reflection on contemporary life. I recommend that you go and see for yourself.
