LARGE SCALE PORTRAITS OF NATURE by Armin Grässl

His exhibition at the ArtHangar in Saanen features a remarkable collection of large-scale images that exemplify Grässl’s mastery of panoramic photography. If the name strikes a chord, it’s no wonder because Armin spent 25 years in Gstaad, where he captured the lifestyle of high society, mainly at the Palace. In his acclaimed book “Gstaad”, renowned figures such as Roger Moore, Henry Cartier Bresson, Gunther Sachs, Julie Andrews, Roman Polanski, and others praised his ability to capture Gstaad’s true beauty. EARLY AUTUMN MOODS by Nathalie Rosat

Capturing the very essence of traditional Swiss life in the mountains in late summer! These charming and enchanting creations by skilled local artist Nathalie depict our beautiful cows from the Pays-d’Enhaut – Château-d’Oex region, being brought from their summer Alpages. Nathalie is a very creative and multi-talented artist who also specialises in bespoke trompe-l’oeil work, which she learned while studying at the Van der Kelen Institute in Brussels. Her flair for colour and bringing her characters to life really do make these pictures so appealing! Link to Nathalie's webpage here.

THE SUBJECTIVE IDEA OF BODY AND CALLIGRAPHY by Chris Calvet

Calvet’s mastery over the interplay of symbols and allegorical storytelling was brilliantly showcased in this exhibition called “Signe & Allegorie” exhibition at Hôtel de Rougemont.

What truly stands out is the way Calvet seamlessly blends the ancient element of calligraphy with contemporary concepts such as photography. The juxtaposition of traditional symbolism and modern themes creates a thought-provoking dialogue between the past and the present.

Furthermore, the exhibition’s setting at Hotel de Rougemont is a small stroke of brilliance. The elegant and refined ambience of the venue complements Calvet’s artworks, creating an atmosphere of sophistication and contemplation. The artworks seem to effortlessly integrate with the space, forming a seamless connection between art and environment.
