This winter, the renowned Chlösterli will reopen with Martin Bieri at the helm. The heart of the Chlösterli is formed by motivated chefs and staff, who will greet guests with exceptional service and dishes of the highest quality and creativity. In the innovative kitchen, Bieri and his team will combine traditional, authentic dishes with a touch of exotic ingredients – and yet every guest should find a piece of home on their plate.
The Chlösterli – legendary since inception!
The Chlösterli has seen a lot in its two centuries of existence, from a bakery to a grocery shop to a residential building. Latest as the Gstaad chalet from the second half of the 20th century.
The Gstaad chalet made a name for itself worldwide with its restaurant and legendary dance evenings – and became the place where Liz Taylor and Roger Moore said good night to each other.
This tradition will continue under Martin Bieri – because, as is well known, those who dance get more out of life. On Friday nights, the Stallbar will feature selected DJs, while on Saturdays, live performances by local and national artists are planned on selected dates. Furthermore, a shuttle bus will ensure that all dancing mice and party bunnies make it safely back to Gstaad. Opening weekend is Friday, 16 December and Saturday, 17 December, and guests are cordially invited to toast to a brilliant new beginning with a glass of champagne. Now more than ever, the new Chlösterli stands for refined and exceptional cuisine and promises more fun in Gstaad!
