It’s that time again: Gstaad Saanenland Tourism, the BDG, and the non-profit Summit Foundation are joining forces for the fourth annual Clean-Up Day — and they need your help!

Every year, millions of ski days are logged across Swiss slopes. But when the snow melts, it often reveals what winter has hidden: litter. Cigarette butts, vape cartridges, and snus pouches not only spoil the scenery, but also harm the environment and local wildlife. Clean-Up Day is our way of raising awareness and taking action — together — against pollution.

This year’s meeting point is at 9:30 AM in Saanenmöser. From there, we’ll head toward the Hornberg and Lochstafel chairlifts to collect leftover waste. After the clean-up, all volunteers are invited to enjoy a well-deserved meal. Whether you’re a local or a guest, skier or hiker, young or old — everyone is welcome!

Let’s work together to make the Gstaad holiday region cleaner and more sustainable.
