A soundscape from around the world, as music filled the Gstaad air

  14.10.2025

For the fourth time, Fête de la Musique filled Gstaad’s Promenade with rhythm and joy. On Saturday, 20 September, under radiant late-summer skies, the village transformed into one large open-air stage that drew crowds of visitors and music lovers alike.

The day began for participating musicians with a convivial lunch on the terrace of the Huus Gstaad Hotel, followed by a briefing and the distribution of artist posters and trademark champagne buckets. Then, after a sponsor’s apéro at the Hotel Bernerhof, the music took over.

From 3 p.m. until midnight, five stages — at the Hotel Bernerhof, Kapälliplatz, Saanen Bank, Gstaad Saanenland Tourismus and Restaurant Rössli — created a musical journey through the heart of Gstaad. Young talents shared the stage with established artists, and the audience was treated to a colourful palette of sounds, from acoustic folk to punchy rock and soulful pop.

One of the evening’s highlights was the performance by the local band Schocco Rocco, whose infectious Swiss rock in dialect lyrics and driving rhythms got the crowd moving. The diverse line-up placed particular emphasis on regional talent and musical variety, turning every corner of the Promenade into a celebration of creativity.

Finally, the craziest cover band of them all — Ocean Orchestra — took to the stage, dazzling the crowd with colourful costumes and an infectious sound. Their set of cover hits from the late ’70s to early ’90s brought the evening to a joyful close, with the audience singing and dancing along to every beat.
