Christmas Exhibition at Alpenruhe – 29 & 30 November

  18.11.2025

As the first snow is covering the peaks and the BDG turned on the snow canons last night, it’s time for the first Christmas market of the season.

Alpenruhe marks the start of Advent with its annual Christmas exhibition, a gentle introduction to the season’s traditions and crafts. Handcrafted items from the Alpenruhe ateliers, thoughtful gift ideas and winter scents create a warm and welcoming setting.

Children can try their hand at lantern-making and gingerbread decorating on Saturday, or create decorative bottles on Sunday — simple, creative activities offered free of charge. A lantern parade on Saturday evening from 6 to 7 pm adds a quiet moment of festive light, with both homemade and brought-along lanterns welcome.

This year, candle-dipping returns, a familiar favourite for families. Concerts, refreshments on both days and the small animal exhibition by VKO Simme-Saane on Sunday round off the programme.

A weekend to explore, take part and enjoy at your own pace.
