Brocante Market returns on 8 August

  17.07.2026 Local News

One of Saanen's best-loved summer traditions returns on 8 August as the annual Brocante market celebrates its 22nd edition. Once again, exhibitors and visitors from across the region and beyond will fill the village streets for a day of treasure hunting, good food and a lively community atmosphere.

It is one of those dates many of us look forward to each summer. Locals and visitors mingle in the heart of the village, browsing everything from antiques, vintage finds and collectibles to handmade crafts and unique curiosities. Charity stalls supporting local organisations add another dimension to the day, making it as much about community as shopping.

Live music, regional specialities from local food vendors and the charming antique carousel for younger visitors complete the experience, creating the relaxed atmosphere that has made the Brocante such a popular fixture in Saanen's summer calendar.

If you are planning a visit, consider supporting one of the charitable stands. The local Rotary and Lions clubs will once again be raising funds for good causes, while the Soroptimists will offer donated fashion accessories, with proceeds supporting the President's current charity project. You may well leave with an unexpected treasure while helping a worthwhile cause at the same time.
