Parked at the campsite this summer, the Alsatian food truck is serving the classic tarte flambée: paper-thin dough, baked crisp and topped in the traditional way with crème fraîche, onions and bacon – plus a few new variations if you’re feeling less traditional.

It’s quick, casual and exactly the sort of place we like finding for What’s Cooking. No dressing up, no fuss and, importantly, no need to survive on another sad supermarket sandwich when hunger hits.
