Jasmin Teuscher, Apprentice:
“I am particularly excited about the 'Breakin' Mozart' event. When classical music meets breakdancing, something completely new is created, a complete contrast to the other concerts in the festival programme. And I am very much looking forward to 'The Magic Flute'. I love such huge productions on stage in the festival tent! Organisationally, such productions are a real challenge, but it's all the nicer to see the final result.”

Corinne Reuteler, Head of Artistic Admin:
“This year we also have real rarities in the programme, including Beethoven's Triple Concerto, which will be performed in the Festival Tent on 20 August. We have already had the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra London as guests in previous editions, so I know that the Triple Concerto will shine. And then I am also very excited about the concert with Bomsori Kim; I already enjoyed her concert last year very much.”

Seraina Jung, Team Assistant:
“I am very much looking forward to the concert with Maurice Steger, Christoph Croisé and the ensemble Il Pomo d'Oro on 7 August in the church of Saanen. Maurice Steger's concerts are a part of the festival every year and always create enthusiasm. It will certainly be the same this year, especially with Mozart's 'Eine kleine Nachtmusik' on the programme.”

Celine Schwizgebel, Artistic Admin & Logistics:
“I am especially looking forward to Alfred Eschwé and the Vienna Johann Strauss Orchestra. I am curious to see how the waltzes and polkas that they will play how they will sound in the Festival Tent Gstaad? Furthermore, I am looking forward to the combination of Mozart and live breakdance that Christoph Hagel will perform together with the DDC 'Dance Floor Destruction Crew'.”

Lukas Wittermann, Managing Director:
“4 by Mahler, for sure! And with this orchestra is one of the leading Mahler orchestras internationally – the Symphony Orchestra of the Hessischer Rundfunk conducted by Alain Altinoglu. The concerts with Maurice Steger are always a highlight for me – this year with the wonderful musicians of the chamber orchestra 'Il Pomo d'Oro' and the experimental young cellist Christoph Croisé. Of course, I won't miss the Academy concerts either, and I'm especially looking forward to 'Peer Gynt' – the children's and family concert with the children from Saanenland.”

Marlène Tschanz, Head of Fundraising and Events:
“I'm looking forward to the reunion on 21 August in the festival tent of Jaap von Zweden, the chief conductor of the Gstaad Festival Orchestra, and the young, electrifying exceptional pianist Jan Lisiecki, who will play Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5. And of course, I look forward to every concert in Lauenen Church, this year especially the one with the Chiaroscuro Quartet on 21 July, who are one of our 'Menuhin's Heritage Artists'.”

Christine von Siebenthal, Head of Communications & Marketing:
“It will definitely be varied with 'Philharmonix'. This pure joy of playing together by the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra members, plus the extraordinary arrangements, will be one of the highlights this year. And then, of course, it is always a huge pleasure and honour to have Menuhin's name on the programme: On 24 August, Jeremy and Mookie Menuhin will be our guests with the Carmina Quartet. And there are even some of Jeremy's own compositions!"
