ALBINATI AERONAUTICS & TRISTAN: a celebration of more than 20 years of successful partnership between good friends and business colleagues; Stefano Albinati, CEO and owner of renowned private jet company Albinati Aeronautics and famous Swiss chocolatier Tristan Carbonatto. They both share the same vision of Swiss excellence and attention to detail in their quest for the highest quality within their respective fields.

Passion for excellence
The two of them met when Stefano stepped into the shop to try out some chocolates. He found them so delicious that he immediately decided to offer them to his clients on the Albinati flights. Over the years a close friendship and business relationship has developed as they both share the same passion for excellence – always striving towards the best quality in all that they do and offer to their customers.

Redefining the standards for private aviation
Stefano Albinati founded Albinati Aeronautics in 2001 with the goal to offer business and discerning travellers a truly independent service. Today, the 140-strong team remains faithful to its roots, motivated above all by a passion for aviation excellence.

Stefano has devoted his life to flying and to personally overseeing the range of services offered by Albinati Aeronautics. His passion for flying began at a young age, he even became a licensed pilot at only 17, and to this day his desire and drive to build the industry’s premier corporate aviation company endures. In a market that seeks excellence above all – Albinati sets itself apart as the only French-speaking Swiss airline approved to operate the PC-24 commercially. With two Pilatus PC-24 and two PC-12 aircrafts it firmly establishes the commitment to accommodate guests in Gstaad. These planes are the most popular to land in Saanenland, as they are super versatile and at the same time offer the comfort and space of a jet.

A journey in Switzerland and around the world
Tristan is an artisanal chocolatier, or as others call him, the chocolate magician. If asked, he would say it is all about passion for the craft of handmade chocolate, the relationships he has with his employees, longstanding and close connections to suppliers and customers – in short, it’s all about heart and soul.

His chocolates have made a small village in the hills above the shores of Lake Geneva famous both nationally and internationally and his magical little chocolate shop tempts chocophiles from all over the world.

Always on a constant lookout for beautiful products, Tristan journeys both in Switzerland and all over the world in search of ingredients that can be used for new creations, starting from home with the local wine, to exotic spices brought from abroad such as matcha tea from Japan, kampot pepper or ginger from Australia. They all find their way into Tristan’s cauldron and from there on its pure magic.

An incomparable experience
What a treat it is – flying high above the skies and eating one of the best chocolates in the world while cruising comfortably at 30 000 ft above ground. Especially popular are the chocolate bunnies for Easter but all passenger on board can pre-order any of Tristan’s flavours that is their favourite, such is the extent of the Albinati services. It is, after all, the small detail that make all the difference. From the moment you board to the final goodbyes, Albinati Aeronautics is committed to leaving you with lasting and wonderful memories.

Passion for flying
“Our businesses share many similarities. In Tristan’s case, his creations originate from a great curiosity for new ingredients and a deep love for chocolate – and thereby creating a unique experience for customers. His is a family feel business and he is firmly rooted in the local community, which creates a strong bond between the shop and its customers. In our case, I have always had a strong passion for flying and I wanted to create the most unique experience for our customers; providing a tailormade product where the customer truly can feel that we care about their needs. All our employees are involved and feel responsible for the service we provide. In short you could say that we have thought about every little detail – an unforgettable flying experience starts with the taste of the best chocolate in the world”, says Stefano Albinati.
