Last Friday evening, the Bern Cantonal Police (Kapo) received a fire call at 6.35 pm. The fire brigade and ambulance were immediately alerted. Even before the emergency services arrived on the scene in Gsteig, people on site had already managed to extinguish, according to Kapo media spokesperson Lena Zurbuchen. No one was injured, and no animals were harmed. However, there was property damage to the barn that was on fire. According to the media office of the Bern Cantonal Police, investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire and the exact amount of property damage.
