Mateo Sanz Lanz to sail in Tokyo

Fri, 23. Jul. 2021

The Swiss Olympic Sailing Team presented its line-up for the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo on 8 July. Mateo Sanz Lanz from Gstaad Yacht Club, boat class RS:X, is one of six sailors who will represent Switzerland at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Sanz Lanz said in the SUI Sailing Team (SST) media release that he was feeling quite good so close to departure. “I have improved my performance on the water thanks to the support of my great team. On land, I continue to work on my fitness.” SST team manager Tom Reulin is convinced that all six sailors have the potential to achieve an Olympic diploma. “Each of them will do their personal best to keep up in the fight for the podium places,” he says, true to their motto: ALL IN 4 Tokyo2020!
