On Friday, 23 April, DJ Teho put on a show on the Glacier 3000 that took everyone's breath away. The Frenchman composed music exclusively for his Swiss performance, which he performed with a view of the rising sun. Last week, Cercle published the accompanying video on the YouTube channel of the same name.
Cercle is a medium that promotes artists and locations. Through the interplay of talented musicians and unusual locations, they create visual stories that have already attracted two million subscribers on Youtube. Whether in front of the pyramids of Giza, in the middle of the Pacific in Tahiti or on the Eiffel Tower – the impressive videos evoke enthusiasm, harmony and, of course, a party atmosphere.
Bernhard Tschannen, CEO of Glacier 3000, appreciates Cercle's philosophy. He wants to allow artists to perform despite the corona restrictions and has already been in touch with some DJs. In the end, he decided on Cercle and its protagonist DJ Teho.
The weather and the conditions at this altitude posed a particular challenge. The shooting had to be postponed for a few days until the clouds receded. The short period of sunrise demanded haste. "Every minute counted," Tschannen says in the Glacier 3000 press release. DJ Teho's unfamiliar stage also gave him trouble initially, but the result was worth the difficulties.
