On enquiry, Daniel Blaser, head of the Prosecution and Bankruptcy Office Oberland, confirmed that the auction of the former hotel business on Dorfstrasse in Saanen had taken place as planned on 28 May 2020 and that the property that housed the legendary Saanen Pub was auctioned off. Since the award of contract is not yet legally binding and for reasons of data protection no further details were disclosed.
