The decision of the municipalities of Gsteig and Lauenen whether to participate in the campaign "Hie läbe – hie ichoufe" has now also been made. Both municipalities have decided to take part and will finance the Campaign Gift Cards that will be distributed to the housholds of the respective municipalities. The campaign will thus cover the whole of Saanenland. Up to CHF 260,000 can be paid out from the municipal coffers to benefit the local trade and gastronomy.

Meanwhile, the team from Gstaad Saanenland Tourism, which is responsible for the Gstaad Gift Card, is working flat out. Over 30 new Gift Card partners have already registered since the campaign was announced and are now being connected to the system and trained.

This means that the Campaign Gift Card can now be redeemed at over 150 businesses. Those responsible for the project hope that even more businesses in the communities of Gsteig and Lauenen will now decide to connect to the Gift Card system in order to benefit from the campaign.

The first Campaign Gift Cards will reach the population around mid-June.
