Fire bans have been issued in all the district of the canton of Berne in the forest due to danger level 4 (high): The lighting of fires in or near forests with a minimum distance of 50 metres is strictly prohibited.

Outside the prohibited zones, fires may only be lit in permanently installed fireplaces and with the utmost caution. No fires are allowed in windy weather. The instructions of the local authorities are to be followed.
