MOB reduces trains

  23.03.2020 Coronavirus

One train per hour
On the Montreux-Zweisimmen line, trains run once an hour every day, also on the Zweisimmen-Lenk line. There are no special trains (eg cheese train). The start of the chocolate train season has been postponed to 1 July. The line between Haut-de-Caux and Les Rochers-de-Naye is closed, the Les Avants-Sonloup: connection has also been discontinued.

Postbus: the timetable without school classes will apply
Postbus AG is also reducing its timetable at the request of the FOPH. For the time being, the Post bus routes in the Saanenland are not affected by cuts, as Sonja Kübli from the PostBus company Kübli Reisen AG says on request. "We are already running at hourly intervals, therefore no cuts are planned." However, because the schools are closed, the timetable applies without the student courses.

Drivers do not sell tickets
In order to protect staff and minimise the spread of the coronavirus, PostBus AG has also stopped ticket sales by drivers. Passengers are urged to purchase their tickets online, by mobile phone or at ticket machines. As a further measure, the driver's door will remain closed and the area of the driver's cab will be cordoned off.

Inform online
The printed timetables are currently no longer up to date. Detailed timetable information is available under sbb.ch.
