Protective masks are a rare good. According to the news on Swiss Radio SRF on Thursday, the production of protective masks in Switzerland is being ramped. From mid-April, up to a daily 62,000 protective masks can be produced. Until then, masks will remain a scarce commodity and should be reserved for people directly exposed to the virus at work.

A ban for visitors has been in place since mid-March in the institutions belonging to Alterswohnen STS AG. This ban applies to the Maison Caludine Pereira and the retirement home Sunnebühl in Lauenen.
