Experienced hotelier François Grohens has become the manager of the five-star hotel Park Gstaad where he’s worked since 2015. He’s taking over from Stephan Post, who’s ending a two-year contract.

"I’m delighted to be able to run a first-class team at Park Gstaad and can’t wait to welcome guests to our beautiful property in the Saanenland," explains Grohens, who spent three decades working in France, the USA and Switzerland in various sectors of the hotel and catering industry. He’s a familiar face at the Park and since 2017, he’s been working as deputy director and HR manager for Stephan Post, who’s leaving at the end of a two-year contract to take on a new professional challenge.

While in the role, Post launched the refurbished Avenue Montagne restaurant, an innovative summer bike lounge and the Ice Dome Lounge Bar for the winter, among others. These new features have helped to make the business a discerning, modern, luxury destination where guests can enjoy sports, wellness and the Swiss Alpine lifestyle.

Park Gstaad opens for the 2019 winter season on 12th December and will have a real bundle of surprises in store, especially during the holidays.

New bridge
