Efforts to keep La Braye alive

Wed, 08. May. 2019

The Association Edelweiss Paradise tries to save the La Braye cablecar. They are facing a deadline within which they have to buy the facilities from the Commune de Château-d'Oex, however, that is not realistic.

Second home owners are now undertaking to support the Association Edelweiss Paradise. They are collecting signatures from people who support the endeavours of the Association and hope to convince the Commune to grant more time. They ask in particular all "other owners of a second home in the region and all non-Swiss who live here, to co-sign this letter".

The Association and the second home owners hope to prevent the dismantling of La Braye and seek more time to present a project for the future operation of the cable car.
