Dairy Gstaad receives building permit

Tue, 18. Sep. 2018

After many year of planning, the dairy Gstaad finally received the building permit for a new construction at Lauenenstrasse, behind the building of Bauwerk AG.

Various adaptions on the initial plans could settle the concerns voiced by neighbouring parties. Costs are higher than planned. Initially the machinery from Gstaad was to be moved to the new site but this decision has been changed.

It is not clear yet, what will happen with the free space in the current building. Options range from selling the 50-year-old premises to renovating them and creating something new for the dairy. There is no pressure to sell, so the cooperative will keep evaluating ideas until they find a solution that fits. The shop remains open for now.
