With cheap tickets and a revised waste management plan, the organisers of this summer’s J. Safra Sarasin Swiss Open Gstaad are looking forward to an attractive and environmentally friendly event. Entertainment will include an air show by the Swiss Air Force's PC-7.
Feliciano Lopez (ATP 37) from Spain will take part in the tournament, as will Begium’s David Goffin. Goffin is currently doing very well on the tournament scene, and made it to the semi-finals in the Monte Carlo Masters. To get there he beat Novak Djokovic and now ranks in the sport’s top ten. Roberto Bautista Agut (ATP 18) from Spain and Viktor Troicki (ATP 38) from Serbia will also participate.
For the 102nd edition of the J. Safra Sarasin Swiss Open Gstaad and the second Ladies Championship Gstaad in the week afterward, there is a novelty in ticketing. Tennis fans can buy their ticket for only CHF 25, and a random generator will then decide the day of the ticket’s validity.
Tickets for the "Gstaad Tennis Jackpot" can now be found online at www. jsafrasarasinswissopengstaad.ch and www.ladieschampionshipgstaad.ch.
Regular ticket sales are also open and can be purchased at www.ticketcorner.ch and on advanced sale at Gstaad Saanenland Tourism. The tournament runs from 22-30 July.
