Armed Robbery Suspect Gets Four Year Sentence

  28.03.2017 Gstaad Living

The story could’ve been ripped from the headlines in urban London, Paris, or New York—not Gstaad, nestled peacefully in the Swiss Alps. The attack occurred in broad daylight on the busiest street in Gstaad, just 100 metres from a police station. The two men held two female employees at gunpoint, then stole jewellery and watches worth over several hundred thousand francs before heading to the train station.

In addition to prison time, the assailant must pay the CHF 8398 litigation costs. He is already incarcerated, choosing begin his sentence early on 10 January of this year.
