The 23-year old from Lauenen is currently the U23 world champion and is working hard to prepare for this winter’s competitions. Free of injury and in perfect shape, von Siebenthal says she’s confident and excited for this season to begin.

The first race of the winter is scheduled in Ruka, Finland, for the last weekend of November. Other competitions on which she'll focus include the Tour de Ski and the World Championships in Lahti.

"My goals are to stay in the top ten ranking," says von Siebenthal, adding she'd like to make it to the top ten in the Distance Total World Cup as well.
