Anzeiger von Saanen expanding online operations
17.04.2007 ArchivAs we do here at GstaadLife.com, the focus will be on breaking local news in an irreverent style accompanied by the best in photos and video. Then in July, the new website and GstaadLife.com will benefit from a new advertising system that will let you to read and search online all those useful ads that appear in the Anzeiger von Saanen newspaper. We're also working on a couple of other exciting local media projects we can't quite tell you about just yet...stay tuned as these new media channels take their place alongside our 127 year-old newspaper.
To make it all happen, Mueller Marketing and Druck (owner of this website and the Anzeiger von Saanen newspaper) is collaborating with Consenda AG. Based in Gstaad and New York, Consenda is an media software company that specializes in cross media systems and strategies. Consenda clients comprise local and international news leaders in Europe and the US, including the Guardian of London and the Los Angeles Times. Both Anzeiger and GstaadLife online projects are personally overseen by Consenda CEO, Xavier Ferguson, who is based in Gstaad.
We are also expanding the internal Anzeiger/GstaadLife online team, and we'd like to extend a warm welcome to Andrea von Siebenthal who joins us in the dual role of chief editor for the upcoming anzeigervonsaanen.ch website and assistant editor for this one. Andrea is a native Gstaader and daughter of Gottfried von Siebenthal whose books, The Gstaad Story and Gstaad - a Journey into the Past, Andrea translated into French. Andrea combines her knowledge of the community with a sharp storytelling wit, and through her writings, photos, and videos we look forward to going deeper on the stories that matter to Saanenland. A mother of two daughters, she speaks and writes in five languages. We are delighted to welcome Andrea to Gstaad's digital frontier, and we'll have more on the new websites and features as they are released...
