Local resident and president of the Swiss Association of Friends of Papercutting Art, Regina Martin, speaks about the papercutting revival and the plans to establish a permanent papercutting exhibition space in Château-d’Oex.

“Even though it might not be recognized in the Saanenland, papercutting is much more than just alpine ascent scenes,” says Martin. She explains that it is just as challenging to create a modern papercutting as it is a more traditional one.
