Numerous spectators lined the road between Saanenmöser and the Col du Pillon. On the highest point in Saanenmöser, there were mountain prizes and a sprint in Gsteig.

A five-person group reached Gstaad at 4:21pm, and three minutes later continued their journey on their way out of the village. The last group passed by at 4:31pm and the broomstick announced the end of the Gstaad leg of the race.
