In August last year a book on the history and architecture of Saanen waslaunched, Saanen – ein historischer Dorfführer (see GSTAADLIFE, Issue 5, 2015). The 28 locations discussed in the book, which was written by Bendicht Hauswirth and co author Brigitte Leuenberger-Jaggi, can also be visited in the village, where panels provide the most important facts.
