Karl Wild loves the Bernese Oberland and its great hotels. No less than ten hotels from the Saanenland made it into his ranking.

As the best holiday hotel in the region, the Gstaad Palace, Gstaad was ranked 6th (previous year 4th), followed by The Alpina Gstaad, Gstaad (8th, 13th last year), Le Grand Bellevue, Gstaad (9th, 7th last year) and Park Gstaad, Gstaad (19th, 15th last year).

In the nice-price hotel category, Hotel Spitzhorn, Saanen (4th place, 3rd last year) leads the list of local hotels ahead of HUUS Gstaad, Saanen (15th place, 8th last year) and Romantik Hotel Hornberg, Saanenmöser (17th place, 13th last year).

The Ermitage Wellness- & Spa-Hotel (7th place as last year) is the only wellness hotel to make it into the ranking of wellness hotels. Among this year’s 15 trouvailles are the Hotel Le Petit Relais, Saanenmöser and the boutique Hotel Alpenrose.
