Uncertainty about the major events in summer

The decision is still outstanding after many tournaments have already been cancelled. The organisers of the J. Safra Sarasin Swiss Open Gstaad are in a similar stage of decision-making. According to the press release, the tournament from 18 to 26 July is not currently affected by the measures announced by the Federal Council. The organisers therefore continue to work on the event. They are in a regular exchange with with the world's governing body ATP and the authorities in order to continuously reassess the risks and feasability of the tournament.

After the cancellation of the prestigious Wimbledon tournament on Wednesday, it is all the more important to keep checking the conditions. Health protection for visitors, partners and players is a top priority. "Even if the situation remains uncertain, we remain positive as always," is the hopeful closing statement of the press release.
