The long time members of the GYC, Nathalie Brugger and Matías Bühler, have sailed together since 2013. Since 2015 they have been consistently ranked among the world’s top 15 teams, evidenced by their recent performance in seventh place at the Rio Olympic Games.

To win the top “Sailing Team” award, Brugger and Bühler must beat out two other teams. The awards are fan-based; sailing aficionados have until 31 October to cast their vote before the ceremony is held 19 November in Lucerne.
