The retro-inspired property, located directly on the slopes in Saanenmöser, was the first local hotel to court the young intellectual, hipster, and vintage-loving crowd. With micro-brewed beers and a hamburger voted 2nd in the Saanenland, the funky, friendly vibe made it a unique escape from glamorous Gstaad.

The hotel, co-owned by Paul Peyer, was very active on social networks and popular with its followers on Instagram. Peyer even hosted Instagramers on several occasions to photograph the region.

At the time being, there is no further information on whether the hotel will reopen or be sold.
