The Medical Center in Saanen informs in a press release about the new opening hours, which will be valid as from Monday, 2 May. While it was open daily between 8am and 8pm until now, the new opening hours will be from Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm. Thus, not only the weekend services will fall away; also the opening hours in the evenings will be reduced. This measure had been a point for discussion anyway for low season. The public vote of 15 April just speeded up the decision, according to Localmed. It has not been determined yet what the opening hours for next summer's high season will be. Like the other medical practices in the region, the Medical Center participates in the weekend emergency rota. Possible exceptions to the regular opening hours when the Medical Center is on weekend duty will be published in the Anzeiger von Saanen.
