Sensational conditions on the Sparenmoos - extend season until Easter.
Due to the recent snowfall and excellent conditions, the Sparenmoos has been extended for winter sports enthusiasts until Easter. All cross-country skiers, sledgers, winter hikers and sunbathers can enjoy the landscape on the Sparenmoos. The MuMa Snackbar serves up local produce, hand-picked Swiss wines and homemade daily soup with lots of charm and coziness. The three different trails for all levels provide a good range, and at 1600 meters above sealevel, there is still a lot of snow.

Nice photo. But that snow fall was from almost a month ago. In the meantime we've had probably the most important story for a while in Gstaad, the second home initiative, one that I imagine affects many readers of this website. And yet not a word. Is this what the new editor meant by deeper insight??

Thanks for your comment James, yes the article is dated 8th March! As for the second home initiative, seeing this is a blog maybe you would like to share with us your thoughts on the topic? We are preparing an in depth coverage of it in our print issue, this coming Spring. However if you wish to generate some chat about it here, please do.

Note to Editor: no response would be better than a snippy one. Don't forget I'm the reader. Perhaps I'll take the time to write a comment when you can be bothered to write the forum for one. As you correctly point out, this site is (or at least used to be) a blog, so waiting till you're done with the print article doesn't really cut it.
