Dear GstaadLife readers
It is with regret that we say goodbye to Eva Sailer. Reading your comments based on her parting note it is clear that she has done a good job.
7 years ago GstaadLife started as an 8 page English language supplement that was inserted into the German language newspaper, Anzeiger Von Saanen. From these humble beginnings GstaadLife grew to what today is an enthusiastically supported magazine which holds the highest annual magazine circulation in the region (approximately 45 000 copies ). Such growth in acceptance took time and required regular evolution to keep abreast of the needs of our readers and the advertiser community.
In the same way our online GstaadLife.com also requires evolution. Since its beginning online media has changed and improved at breakneck speed and we recognise, quite frankly, that we need to catch up!
So it is my pleasure to inform you that GstaadLife online will continue as you know it in the short term. However as time goes on you will see significant evolutions to the content and format. We plan to align the content more with our magazine giving you the reader a deeper insight into each story. In essence we will publish much more content.
I thank you for your valued support. Best wishes
Peter Sonnekus-Williams. EDITOR IN CHIEF GSTAADLIFE

....and greetings from another Californian - Marin County. I spent most of the 70's in Saanen working at JFK. Having access to Gstaad Life via internet has been a wonderful way to maintain a sense of what is happening in your wonderful part of the world. I am so glad that the connection will continue on. It is much valued. Thanks for the good news!

Thanks Peter. Great to know this will continue - and of course evolution, expansion and improvement of it in time will hopefully add to the enjoyment.
I look forward to what the future of GstaadLife may bring.

Aligning with the magazine?. The magazine is boring and panders to advertisers. If the website now goes in the direction of the magazine, that is no evolution

You have more followers in your blog than the printed Anzeiger von Saanen!!!! Who stopped your successful blog and why your blog was discontinued we might never find out. When are you starting your own blog??? My friend in Gstaad all thought after GstaadLife became an advertising magazine your blog gave at least the information they were looking for.We all will follow you.
