New ski-bus service from Rellerli to Horneggli
Huge news this week for the seriously lazy among you...Bergbahnen Destination Gstaad, operator of the region's skilifts, is putting the revenue from our increased ski passes to work with the introduction of a new shuttle bus service from Rellerli to the Horneggli base station. During the December/January high season, it was noted that the parking lots at the Horneggli were among the first to fill up, while the Rellerli, with its full-sun snow quality issues, was often left with plenty of spaces. So beginning this Saturday February 9, BDG will be offering a Park-&-Ride shuttle bus service to ferry skiers (the 490 meters; yes, we measured it) from their cars to the Horneggli chairlift. It's not like skiing is a sport or anything. You watch...next they'll claim that Rellerli and Hornberg are completely integrated ski areas...
