Suspension bridge to Schönried?
Whilst the Saanen Village Association is seeing through the plans for its new bypass road, its sister organization in Schönried has introduced major plans of its own. It wants to build a 200 meter long pedestrian suspension bridge over the Chouflisbach between Gruben and Halten. The project is the latest piece of the jigsaw puzzle to be added to the development of local hiking trails, and promises to be a new highlight. The Schönried Village Association will seek the official stamp of approval from voters in June.
