Star chef Michel Roux coming to the Bellevue

From March 1 to 3 the Grand Hotel Bellevue will be hosting a very special guest. This particular guest will be spending much of his time in the kitchen as part of the Bellevue’s take on the oh-so-fashionable chef exchange program, but this is no ordinary chef. Michel Roux of the Michelin 3-star Waterside Inn near Windsor in the UK will be gracing our little village, cooking side-by-side with Bellevue head-chef Richard Mebkhout (himself no stranger to Michelin stars…if you haven’t been to the Bellevue this season, you don’t know what you’re missing). Roux’s fresh interpretations on classical French fare have been a hit for years at the Waterside Inn, and perhaps this longevity owes itself to the fact that no matter how many times you go, there are always some surprises. Here in Gstaad, Roux will be whipping up Saanenland versions of his classics, and the only place you can experience them will be in the Restaurant Prado at the Bellevue from March 1 to 3.
